"Matera is stunning and so is La Casa di Giò, especially the view from La Casa di Giò. Located in one of the restored houses in the sassi, the small house was modern, clean and comfortable. The view from the small balcony overlooks all of Matera and the house is situated very close to the main streets and squares but is also perfectly situated to get lost in Matera’s charming, maze-like cobblestone streets. "Loved our stay here. The apartment was small and the terrace was small, but it was perfectly comfortable for 2 people. Antique on the outside, well updated, modern, and clean on the inside. Lots of windows, each with a different and interesting view of the old city, and we really enjoyed mornings and evenings on the terrace with coffee and wine. Host was accommodating with a schedule change we needed to make."
